Famous Pizza Paramus is now open on E. Ridgewood Avenue, replacing the former King Pizza.
The pizzeria operates under the 'Singas Famous Pizza NJ' umbrella but is not part of the affiliated brand, owner Tom Haramis said.
"My wife Stella and I took what we did best at Singas but are focusing on providing a larger product offering, more flexibility with creating new menu items that [are] sometimes constrained when you have franchise stores," Haramis told Daily Voice.
"Most importantly, an enhanced technology capability for payment processing, online ordering and delivery service that is needed today with the COVID-19 pandemic. We strive to provide a very different experience as all our customers are considered welcomed friends."
In addition to its wide array of specialty pies, the new store offers carryout and delivery of classic comfort food options like pasta, burgers, gyros, sandwiches and more — plus, with a BYOB policy, hungry guests can sip while they snack.
Meanwhile, Singas Famous Pizza locations can be found in Parlin, North Brunswick, Lake Hiawatha, Jersey City, Edison, Elmwood Park and Morrisville with another store opening soon in East Windsor, the website says.
Famous Pizza Paramus is open seven days a week between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. For more information, visit the Facebook page.
